There's no account to open and no sign-up form on the site.
Our host is Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them.
Following a video link
What do you learn when I follow a video link or QR code?
You might use a link or QR code from one of my videos. When you do, we record the time, the video or link, and the page it led to.
We also record your country and a scrambled code built from your IP address. The IP address is never stored, and the code can't be reversed.
It shows me which videos help. A single cookie, good for 30 days, remembers which version of the book page you saw. That way it looks the same next time. No other cookie is set by this site. The checkout page is Hotmart's, and its cookies follow Hotmart's policy.
Buying a book
Do you ever see my card details when I buy?
Never. Hotmart collects your name, email, billing and payment details on its checkout.
Hotmart then tells us your email, what you bought and the price. It also tells us your country and the video or link that sent you.
For book orders, we store your email only in scrambled form.
Joining the membership
Which details do you hold once I'm a member?
From Hotmart we get your name, email, country and time zone. Then come your membership status, your dates, and the video or link that brought you here.
That's what we need to send your letters. Each letter also tells us if it was delivered and which of its links were clicked.
An unfinished order
What happens if I leave the checkout before paying?
Say you don't finish, or the payment doesn't go through. Hotmart may then share your name and email with us.
You might get up to two emails to remind you. A single click ends them. Already bought? Then we never send them.
Your emails to me
Do you keep the emails I send you?
Yes. We keep your message and email address to reply.
The full raw email is deleted after 90 days. We keep the message text so we can follow the conversation.
A little AI help
Will anything besides a person see my message?
An AI writing assistant may help draft our replies, so you get an answer sooner.
Your message is used only for that one job.
What we use it for
What is my information actually used for?
Delivering books and letters. Answering questions. Processing refunds.
Seeing which videos help bowlers. And telling you about other books from Lauren Brooks Bowling, with an unsubscribe link in every email.
Never sold
Could my email end up with advertisers?
No. Selling or renting personal information is something we never do. Sharing it for advertising, same answer.
That's a line I don't cross.
Our three helpers
Which outside services help run the site?
Hotmart: payments, book delivery and membership billing. Resend: sending our emails. Cloudflare: hosting the site, storing our data and receiving the email you send us.
All three keep their own privacy policies.
You're in control
How do I unsubscribe, or have my data deleted?
There's a one-click unsubscribe link in each email. Or reply with the single word “unsubscribe”.
To see, correct or delete your data, email business@laurenbowls.com. You'll hear back within 30 days.
It applies anywhere in the US, California included. Hotmart keeps its own purchase records, as required by law.
How long it stays
How long is my information kept?
Membership data stays as long as you're a member, and until you ask us to delete it.
If you unsubscribe, all that remains is a scrambled “do not email” note, so we never write again.
Order records stay as long as the law requires.
Adults only
Can my grandkids use the site?
Everything here is meant for adults: the books and the membership both.
We don't knowingly gather data from children under 13.
If this page changes
How would I know about changes to this page?
We'd update the page itself, along with its “Last updated” date.
